Similar to apps like Gallery Vault - Hide Pictures or HideU: Calculator Lock, HideX - Calculator Photo Vault offers multiple security measures to prevent access with PIN and Pattern lock options. Users can also take advantage of it to lock apps and games from being seen and opened by others.
A vault in disguise
Lending your phone or tablet to a friend or family member can be nerve-racking sometimes as they can easily fool around and open things they're not supposed to, like private media files or messages. This app starts out as a simple calculator but behind it lies a private vault that you can unlock with a PIN or Lock Pattern. If someone does manage to discover the vault and attempts to unlock it, there's an option to set up an intruder alert feature of sorts and take a photo of the person in question. There have been numerous reports of users losing the contents of their vaults, though. Hopefully, this will be addressed as soon as possible in a future update.
